Cinnamon Sugar Pie Crust Biscuits
I had leftover pie scraps from that time I made apple pie, and I wondered, “what can I do with these scraps instead of just throwing them away?”
Lo and behold! With just 3 ingredients, you can make quick and easy biscuits in just 10 minutes! You can even keep it plain and bake it right away! They taste like little shortbread biscuits – crispy, flaky, buttery, and cinnamon-y.
Little morsels of crispy heaven. And the best part about them is? No waste.
Ingredients:
Pie crust (leftover pie crust and/or store bought)
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp sugar
Pinch of nutmeg
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF (177ºC).
In a bowl, combine cinnamon, sugar, and nutmeg.
Roll out the pie dough as thin as possible.
Spread the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Roll into a tight log and cut into small biscuit pieces.
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Bon appétit!
